Set inside a 30 acre award winning farm, Cae Caled Cottage was voted one of the Top 20 Romantic destinations by The Times Online and it’s easy to see why with it’s cosy woodburner, extravagant bathroom and sumptuously crafted Welsh Oak bed.

Cae Caled Cottage features one galleried bedroom with the super king size Welsh Oak bed. The en-suite features a double-ended deep bath, basin, WC and seperate shower. The open plan living space comprises the sitting area with woodburner, dining space and fully fitted kitchen.

  • A faultless cottage. Clean and well equipped, warm and inviting. Perfect for a week away from it all. Plenty big enough for the 2 of us and our 2 border collies. Lovely garden area for the dogs to run around freely. This area of North Wales is stunning. The views from the patio doors both in the living area and the bedroom are awesome. You are never far from the remote hills, quaint villages, or bustling towns. The cottage is ideally located whatever your pastime may be. The owners were delightful and helpful and have a clear pride in their beautiful property which is immaculate. I have no hesitation in recommending this cottage to anyone. We will definitely return…hopefully soon.

  • The cottage is beautifully situated and very well equipped. There are wonderful views from all windows and a great sun-trap outside where you can bask in the sunshine. The owners live in the adjoining farmhouse and were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed trips to Snowdonia – check out the Welsh Slate Museum at Llanberis (free entry) and Llangollen has plenty of attractions.

  • The secluded location was really quiet and relaxing and the owners of the property were on site with local recommendations for places to visit and eat out. The swimming pool was a welcome bonus as we visited during a heatwave and the surrounding fields of animals and small wooded area and ponds had plenty of interest for our two dogs. The nearest pub is dog friendly and also very good and nowhere is too far to travel for good walks and sightseeing. Excellent, would definitely go back to the same premises.

  • Had a really relaxing stay in a great dog friendly location. Easy accessable and good eslocation as a base to visit different areas of North Wales. Can’t praise the cottage and holiday enough as theres great local Wales, dog friendly pubs, and the cottage by far exceeded our expectations as you couldn’t ask for more. Large open plan living room/kitchen, enormous bed and spacious bedroom and a fantastic show and bath. This cottage has all the amenities you could ever want. We will definitely be returning another holiday as we had a five star relaxing stay and welcome.
